Refund policy
At Carbon Savage, we forge premium culinary instruments and stand by our quality. To protect both our customers and our business operations, we have established a strict, transparent 30-day return policy.
1. Order Cancellations & "In-Transit" Items
Once an order is placed, it is immediately sent to our logistics facility for processing to ensure fast VIP shipping.
- Orders cannot be canceled or modified once they have been processed and handed over to the carrier.
- We do not issue refunds for items that are currently in transit. You must wait for the item to be delivered to your address before initiating a return request.
2. Eligibility for Returns
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be:
- In the exact same condition that you received it.
- Completely unused, unsharpened, and unwashed.
- In its original Carbon Savage packaging with all accessories included.
3. Return Shipping Costs (Buyer's Responsibility)
If you are returning an item due to "buyer's remorse" or because you simply changed your mind, you (the customer) are 100% responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We do NOT provide pre-paid return shipping labels.
- We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot issue a refund if we do not physically receive the returned item.
4. Damages and Manufacturing Defects
We inspect every chef knife before dispatch. However, if your item arrives defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at support@carbonsavage.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Mandatory: You must include clear photos or a video showing the defect/damage.
- Once verified, we will send a free replacement immediately. We rarely require you to send defective items back, saving you the hassle.
5. Non-Returnable Items
- Gift cards.
- Items purchased during a clearance sale or with a promotional discount code (unless defective). Note: Standard promotional codes are eligible for return, but clearance items are final sale.
6. The Refund Process
To start a return, contact us at support@carbonsavage.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with the exact address of our return facility. Do not send items back to the manufacturer's address listed on the original shipping label, or the package will be lost and no refund will be issued.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
